A Design of Intelligent Range Hood Based on Arduino
Published in International Journal of Advanced Engineering Research and Science (IJAERS), 2024
Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of an intelligent range hood control system based on Arduino architecture. The system integrates gas sensing, human body detection, temperature and humidity monitoring, and adaptive fan-speed regulation. Sensor data are processed by a microcontroller through A/D conversion modules, enabling real-time environmental monitoring and intelligent exhaust regulation. Experimental evaluation demonstrates fast response, stable operation, and improved energy efficiency.
Key Contributions
- Designed a multi-sensor intelligent range hood control system
- Implemented adaptive fan-speed regulation using PWM control
- Integrated environmental monitoring and gas detection modules
- Improved kitchen air-quality monitoring and energy efficiency
